Destiny
DestinyThe Aeon Soul is one of the most powerful beings in the Aeon of Horus, who has been referred to as the Lord of Kings. He is also known as Osiris, Ra, Ra-Horakhty, and Athoth. In his honor, the Red Brotherhood, the Holy Empire, and the Silver and Gold Blades are named. The Order of the White and Black Cypress (OBC) has named him 'Osiris' for his role in building their Dynasty. The Aeon Soul joined the OBC in order to serve as a vessel for Osiris, and then after the Dark Lord's demise, he was left in the corner by his companions in order to die in peace. (The setting of Egyptian Mythology did not allow for that sort of 'justice'.)In The Master of Power, Destiny 2 tells the story of how Destiny's soul was killed and resurrected. As an Aeon Soul, his soul passed through the seven gates into death, and then through the gate of life, and then returned to being a spirit. The tale of Destiny 2's death and rebirth is told from the point of view of a character called The Convict. There ar e some points of similarity between the two versions of the story of Destiny. The most notable difference is that Destiny had no 'Resurrection Token' of any kind. Although his 'token' was never seen or used in the version of the story in The Master of Power, it was alluded to in the Master of Soul, who refers to the Soul's sword as the 'Token of Sacrifice.' The Soul version of the story may well be more likely, however, since the Soul version is actually based on the Aeon Soul version. The other major difference between the two versions of the story of Destiny is that Destiny 2 went through three different incarnations (although this is unclear as to whether they are actually incarnations or simply character shifts). One incarnation was a prisoner of the spirits of the dead, a captive of Isis, a prisoner of Seth, and an evil incarnation of Osiris. In addition, Destiny did not meet his 'vile' half-brother Seth until much later. Many of the differences between the two versions of the st ory of Destiny also apply to the incarnation of the Fallen Soul, which took place a little before The Master of Power. The Fallen Soul was brought into the world of the living by the action of Osiris, only to be turned into a slave to Typhon. As a result, the Fallen Soul did not become a source of power and knowledge for the Daemon. In addition, the story of Destiny and his servants in The Master of Power is even more specific than the story of Destiny and his servants in The Master of Soul. It tells us that the fate of the souls of the dead is sealed away within 'the dark recesses of the flesh' and that only through the individual knowledge and prayers of each person can one successfully bind the souls of the dead to their bodies. Thus, Destiny was unable to bind the souls of the dead to his physical body during his incarnations in The Master of Power, The Master of the Soul, and The Master of Spirits. The only detail from the story of Destiny and his followers in The Master of Power that do not have a place in the version of the story of Destiny and his followers in The Master of Souls is that the fate of the souls of the dead is sealed within a cell at the bottom of the ocean. However, the fate of the souls of the dead has been sealed in Egyptian Mythology from the beginning. The Egyptologists see it as a myth, but the traditionalists say that the fate of the souls of the dead is sealed into a cell at the bottom of the ocean.
